Alexandra C. McCormack is an associate at Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, P.C., and a member of the firm’s Corporate & Securities Department, as well as its Cannabis Law and Veterinary Law Practice Groups.
Alexandra’s practice focuses on representing public and private companies in a wide range of corporate, securities, and real estate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, fund formation, joint ventures, corporate governance, commercial contracts, and SEC filings. Alexandra has extensive experience in reviewing, drafting and negotiating complex licensing, operating, employment, management services, and other commercial agreements.
With specialized regulatory knowledge in the education, cannabis, healthcare, and veterinary industries, Alexandra combines deep regulatory insight with a strong transactional background to provide practical, strategic counsel. She advises businesses at every stage of growth on matters ranging from entity formation and contract negotiation to mergers and acquisitions, compliance, and risk management.
Alexandra delivers ongoing corporate advisory support to operating companies and family enterprises, guiding governance, strategic decision-making, and day-to-day operational execution.

Alexandra serves as co-chair of the firm’s Recruitment and Traditions Committee and is deeply committed to mentoring the next generation of legal professionals. She regularly gives back through speaking engagements, mentorship opportunities, and other programs at her alma mater, Hofstra University, as well as through initiatives with the Nassau County Court System.
Alexandra prides herself on being an involved member of her local community and has proudly served as a longtime volunteer at Oak Neck Athletic Council, a non-profit that provides athletic opportunities to children in the community. Through her philanthropic efforts, Alexandra has also sat on committees and actively participated in raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for various charities including the Marty Lyons Foundation’s Young Professionals Committee, an arm of the Marty Lyons Foundation, Sunrise Association, Beacon House, the Nassau County Women’s Bar Foundation, Friends of Bailey Arboretum, Girl Scouts of Suffolk County and the Nassau County Bar Association WeCare Fund.
Alexandra received her Juris Doctor from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. Alexandra served as a Staff Member on Volume 48 of the Hofstra Law Review and as the Senior Notes Editor on Volume 49 of the Hofstra Law Review. Her Note, Cadavers in Commerce: Regulating Under a Federal Body of Laws (2020), was published in Volume 48.4. Prior to joining Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, P.C., Alexandra served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Arthur M. Diamond in the Nassau County Supreme Court.
