Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, P.C. Announces the Addition of Associate Matthew Finegan

Uniondale, NY – May 21, 2025 – Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, P.C. is pleased to welcome Matthew Finegan as an Associate in the firm’s Commercial Litigation Department.

Mr. Finegan received his Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law, where he served on the executive board of the Hugh L. Carey Dispute Resolution Society and was a member of the New York International Law Review. During his time at St. John’s, Mr. Finegan was awarded the Dean’s Award for Excellence in Drafting New York State Practice and served as a teaching assistant for the first-year Lawyering seminar. Mr. Finegan received his bachelor’s degree from SUNY Cortland, where he was a member of the SUNY Cortland Moot Court Society and interned for the Honorable Andrew A. Crecca, the District Administrative Judge of Suffolk County, during his final semester.

Prior to joining RMF, Mr. Finegan was an associate at a Manhattan-based law firm, where he defended general liability and labor law claims and represented a broad range of clients, including property owners, contractors, and insurers. His experience spans all phases of litigation, including pre-litigation investigations, conducting and defending depositions, dispositive motion practice, and trial preparation.
