Uniondale, New York, March 17, 2020 – Ruskin Moscou Faltischek is pleased to announce that its Construction Practice Group successfully resolved a multi-million dollar construction lawsuit brought against their clients, the sponsor of a 200 plus unit Long Island Condominium, and nine of its affiliates, officers and employees. Attorneys Adam L. Browser and Melissa Sanderleaf led the RMF team.
The dispute involved more than thirty parties, including various design professionals, contractors and subcontractors, and ten insurance carriers. Over a period of four years, Attorneys Browser and Sanderleaf defended their clients against many claims, including breach of contract, construction and design defects and fraud. Attorneys Browser and Sanderleaf implemented an aggressive, but cost effective, defense plan that positioned the case for alternative dispute resolution and a global settlement. The terms of the settlement are confidential but the clients are incredibly pleased with the outcome.
