Uniondale, NY – February 24, 2021– Anthony Baronci, a partner in the Real Estate Department at Ruskin Moscou Faltischek P.C., successfully represented Benedict Realty Group in a lease transaction with ProPhase Diagnostics for the lease of over 25,000 square foot space at 711 Stewart Avenue in Garden City.
ProPhase Diagnostics, which is expanding into Long Island at their new Garden City location, will provide laboratory testing services for diagnosis, screening and evaluation of diseases, including COVID-19 and respiratory pathogen panel molecular tests, according to a company statement. The company anticipated that its expansion at its new facility expansion could bring as many as 100 new jobs.
Mr. Baronci concentrates his practice on commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing and development. He devotes his practice primarily to commercial properties, including retail, zero cash flow properties, office and mixed-use properties and multifamily properties, including properties subject to rent regulations. Mr. Baronci is proficient in the handling of complex 1031 transactions including reverse exchanges, relinquished property “parked” reverse exchanges and construction exchanges. He also handles the leasing for shopping malls, strip malls, mixed-use town centers and office complexes and represents lenders and borrowers with respect to construction and permanent financing, including CMBS loans, mezzanine financing and IDA financing.
Mr. Baronci is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Helen Keller Services, which through its two divisions, Helen Keller National Center and Helen Keller services for the blind, provides training for independent living to those who are blind, visually impaired, deaf, or have combined hearing-vision loss. Mr. Baronci is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Russell Gardens Association, Inc., the homeowner’s association for the Incorporated Village of Russell Gardens.
