RMF Attorneys Present Webinar Program on Telemental Health to the Association of Mental Health and Wellness

Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, P.C., Attorneys, Andrew T. Garbarino, Leora F. Ardizzone and David F. Durso, presented a webinar on May 7, 2020, on Telemental Health to the Association of Mental Health and Wellness along with the CEO of Techworks Consulting, Inc., Christopher Coluccio.

The interactive webinar covered topics on Telemental Health, remote mental health services and the associated practice and regulatory concerns. Other topics included Cybersecurity for healthcare providers and Identification of laws, rules, and regulations that will impact the provider. There was also special emphasis on cybersecurity, technology, and HIPAA concerns during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Andrew Garbarino, Of Counsel at Ruskin Moscou Faltischek P.C., has extensive experience in both the private and public sectors.  Andrew is a member of the firm’s Health Law Department, as well as the White Collar Crime & Investigations, Not-For-Profit and Cybersecurity and Data Privacy practice groups. David Durso, Associate at Ruskin Moscou Faltischek P.C., where he is a member of the Health Law Department and the White Collar Crime and Investigations Practice Group. David’s practice focuses on health care professionals and companies in matters involving the Office of Professional Medical Conduct (OPMC), Office of the Inspector General (OIG), and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).

Christopher  Coluccio, CEO of Techworks Consulting, INC., has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry, Chris has worked with numerous companies spanning various industries providing services to keep their organizations running smoothly and securely. Chris is also the co-chair of the HIA-LI Technology for Business Committee.

The Association for Mental Health and Wellness (MHAW) was formed in 2014 with the merger of the Mental Health Association in Suffolk County, Clubhouse of Suffolk, and Suffolk County United Veterans, and is the Suffolk County branch of Mental Health America and Mental Health Association of New York State.
