Mr. Weinstock is a Partner and chairman emeritus of the firm’s Real Estate Department. His scope of work is vast and includes sales and purchases, commercial leasing, sale-leasebacks, Section 1031 tax deferred exchanges, construction lending, development agreements, purchase options, residential and commercial coops and condos, senior citizen housing, zoning variances, and site plan and subdivision approvals. Additionally, Mr. Weinstock’s work includes title insurance claims, real estate tax redemptions, condemnations, architect’s and construction agreements, mortgage restructurings and transfer tax audits. In a career spanning four decades, he has handled real estate transactions from the basic to the highly complex. Mr. Weinstock’s knowledge and skill place him among the most respected and sought- after real estate lawyers in the region. In recognition of his many contributions to the real estate industry, Governor Pataki named Mr. Weinstock to the prestigious New York State Real Estate Board, where he was elected secretary, serving for seven terms.

Since 2008, Mr. Weinstock has been selected as one of New York Area’s Best Lawyers in Real Estate. Mr. Weinstock has also been selected as a New York Super Lawyer – Metro Edition Magazine, in the area of Real Estate Law from 2008– 2022. In 2010, he was elected a fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers. Mr. Weinstock has served in Village Government for 32 years, and is currently the Mayor of the Incorporated Village of Cedarhurst.

Mr. Feigenbaum is a member of the firm’s Trusts and Estates Department, and is a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Practice Group. Mr. Feigenbaum is a leading authority in trusts and estate planning, administration and litigation. With over 40 years of trusts and estate experience, both in the private and public sectors, he ensures that the firm’s trusts and estate clients receive superior meaningful counsel. Mr. Feigenbaum provides counsel on all aspects of estate planning and administration, including preparation of wills and trusts, tax and insurance planning, probate and Surrogate’s Court proceedings, including litigation, and other fiduciary matters such as conservatorships and guardianships.

Mr. Feigenbaum’s more notable professional activities include his membership on the executive committee of the Trusts and Estates Law Section of the New York State Bar Association, where he was the former chair of the government relations committee, and his presidency of the Queens County Bar Association (1986–87). In addition, he is a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, an international association of lawyers skilled and experienced in estate planning and the administration of trusts and estates. He has lectured extensively on estate planning, tax and estate litigation issues. Mr. Feigenbaum has been in private practice since 1974, representing fiduciaries and beneficiaries in litigation involving some of the largest and most complex estates in the New York metropolitan area.
