Uniondale, NY – January 8, 2024 – Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, P.C., announced today that Partner, Lois Bladykas will be honored at Blank Slate Media’s 40 Under 40 award ceremony and networking event on February 8th, 2024 at Leonard’s Palazzo of Great Neck. The event recognizes those who have distinguished themselves in their respective fields, have a proven track record of career success, are actively engaged in mentoring and promoting their professions, and find time to give back to their communities.

Ms. Bladykas is a member of the firm’s Trusts & Estates Department, Estate; Trust and Fiduciary Litigation Practice Group; and the Insurance and Insurance Litigation Practice Group. Her practice focuses on estate, trust and fiduciary litigation, including all manner of Surrogate’s Court proceedings such as probate contests, accounting proceedings, discovery and turnover proceedings, will and trust construction proceedings, and other complex disputes between beneficiaries and fiduciaries. In addition, Ms. Bladykas has experience representing clients in SCPA Article 17 and 17-A guardianship proceedings and Mental Hygiene Law Article 81 guardianship proceedings. Ms. Bladykas is qualified to serve as Guardian ad Litem in Surrogate’s Court, and as Court Evaluator and Counsel for Alleged Incapacitated Persons in Article 81 guardianship proceedings. Ms. Bladykas also has significant experience in estate administration, including handling probate and administration proceedings, preparing fiduciary accountings, and preparing federal and New York State estate tax returns. Ms. Bladykas has written and co-written many articles for the New York Law Journal and other publications concerning trusts and estates issues and is an update editor of the LexisNexis New York Practice Guide on Probate and Estate Administration.
Ms. Bladykas is an active member of the New York State Bar Association Trusts and Estates Law Section, where she serves as Co-Chair of the Legislation & Government Relations Committee; is Corresponding Secretary of the Suffolk County Women’s Bar Association; and is a member of the New York State Bar Association Membership Committee, Nassau County Bar Association Surrogate’s Court Committee, and Suffolk County Estate Planning Council.
