Eric C. Rubenstein, ESQ. Named to Board of Directors of Long Island Business Development Council

Uniondale, Long Island, New York, July 6, 2007  Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, P.C. announced today that Eric C. Rubenstein, partner and chair of the firm’s Real Estate Department, has been elected to the Executive Board of the Long Island Business Development Council (LIBDC).

“I am delighted to be invited to serve on the board of LIBDC, which has proven itself to be a positive force for creating opportunities for businesses and individuals on Long Island,” said Rubenstein. “I look forward to contributing to the goals of this very worthwhile organization.”

Rubenstein successfully manages a diverse real estate transactional practice with specific emphasis on sophisticated mortgage financing, commercial leasing, acquisitions and sales. In addition to LIBDC, Rubenstein is on the board of the Long Island Real Estate Group and the Real Property Law Committee of the Nassau County Bar Association. He is active in numerous not-for-profit organizations, serving on the Town of North Hempstead Business and Tourism Development Corporation and its Waterfront Advisory Commission, and on committees for the Friends of the Arts and the Community Development Corporation.

The Long Island Business Development Council was established in 1969 and is moving force behind Long Island’s economic development.
