Uniondale, NY – July 1, 2025 – Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, P.C. announced today that Brittany L. Adikes has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Atlantic Marine Conservation Society.
The Atlantic Marine Conservation Society is a recognized leader in marine conservation and a powerful force for ocean health and sustainability across the Northeast. For over a decade, it has served as a steward of marine ecosystems, responding to and researching marine mammal and sea turtle strandings while advancing science-based solutions to protect vital ocean life. Its work connects coastal communities, informs policy, and inspires action, representing a growing network of professionals and advocates committed to preserving the Atlantic Ocean for generations to come.

Ms. Adikes is a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation Department and Cannabis Law Practice Group. Brittany focuses her practice on complex commercial and civil litigation matters. Prior to joining RMF, Brittany was a member of the Cannabis Practice Group at a nationwide law firm, assisting businesses and individuals in the hemp and marijuana industries on litigation, regulatory, and corporate matters across multiple states. Brittany’s experience includes matters such as contract disputes, partnership disputes, trademark and IP infringement, licensing, regulatory compliance, construction related matters, general/professional liability defense, and catastrophic injuries.
Ms. Adikes is a member of the Suffolk County Bar Association, where she serves on both the Cannabis Committee and the Environmental Law Committee. She is also a member of the New York State Bar Association, participating in the Cannabis Law Section and the Environmental & Energy Law Section. In addition, Brittany is a member of the Oregon State Bar Association’s Cannabis and Psychedelics Law Section, as well as the Suffolk County Women’s Bar Association
