Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, P.C. (“the Firm”, “we”, “us”) is a law firm with offices in Uniondale and Hauppauge, New York. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Scope
This policy covers the public website at rmfpc.com. It does not cover information you give us as a client or prospective client outside this website, which is governed by our engagement terms and by the professional obligations that apply to lawyers in New York, including the duty of confidentiality. It also does not cover other organisations’ websites that we link to.
Information we collect
Information you submit through our forms
Our contact and mailing-list forms are provided by JotForm. When you complete one, the information you type in that form — typically your name, email address, telephone number, and whatever you write in the message field — is sent to JotForm and delivered to us.
Please do not send confidential or time-sensitive information through a website form. Sending us a message through this site does not create an attorney-client relationship, and information you send before we agree to represent you may not be treated as confidential. Information collected automatically
Like most websites, this site and the services it uses receive certain technical information from your browser whenever you request a page. That includes your IP address, the address of the page you asked for, the page that referred you, your browser and device type, your approximate location as inferred from your IP address, and the date and time of the request.
Some of that information is collected by our host and security software for the site to work at all. The rest is collected by analytics and sharing services, and only after you agree to them. Nothing in the Analytics or Social sharing categories below runs until you accept it.
How we use information
- To answer enquiries and to send you the updates you asked for.
- To keep the site available, fast and secure, including blocking abusive traffic.
- To understand which pages people read, so we can improve them — only with your consent.
- To meet our legal, regulatory and professional obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising.
Cookies and similar technologies
A cookie is a small file that a website stores in your browser. Related technologies include tracking pixels (tiny images used to record that a page was loaded) and browser storage (data a page keeps in your browser without using a cookie). We group them into the four categories described below. The categories are how we explain what runs on this site; the banner itself does not ask you about them one by one. It offers two answers: Accept All turns on both of the optional categories, Analytics and Social sharing, and Only Necessary leaves both of them off.
Strictly necessary
Required for the site to work and to stay secure: our security plugin’s bot checks, our caching layers, and the cookie that records your answer on the cookie banner. These are always on, and choosing Only Necessary leaves them on.
Functional
Our contact and mailing-list forms (JotForm) and our accessibility toolbar (accessiBe). These are always on. We keep them on so that the site stays usable and reachable for everyone, including visitors who rely on assistive technology.
Analytics
Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Gauges, which tell us which pages are read and how people arrive at them. Off unless you choose Accept All.
Social sharing
AddToAny, which powers the tools for sending a page to email or to a social network. Off unless you choose Accept All.

How to change your cookie choices
You can change your mind at any time. Open cookie settings, or use the Cookie Settings link at the bottom of any page on this site. Either one reopens the same cookie banner, with the same two answers and nothing pre-selected, and whichever button you press replaces your previous answer.
Choosing Accept All takes effect immediately: the analytics and sharing services start on the page you are reading, without a reload. Choosing Only Necessary after having accepted takes effect from your next page view — we stop using those services straight away, but scripts already running on the page you are reading keep running until you load another page or reload this one.
You can also delete cookies and block them through your browser’s own settings. If you delete our consent cookie, we will ask you again the next time you visit.

Data retention
We keep enquiries and mailing-list subscriptions for as long as we need them to answer you, to send you what you asked for, and to meet our professional and legal record-keeping obligations, and then we delete them. Server and security logs are kept for a short operational period. Analytics data is retained under the retention setting configured in our Google Analytics property.
Security
This site is served over an encrypted connection. Our host and our security software apply access controls, monitoring and filtering to the site. No website or transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure, which is why we ask you not to send confidential information through a website form.
Children
This site is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information through this site, please contact us by telephone at 516-663-6600 or by post at the address in the Contact section below, and we will delete it.
Your choices and rights
Whatever your location, you can:
- change or withdraw your cookie consent at any time through cookie settings;
- unsubscribe from our mailings using the link in any message we send;
- ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by writing to us at the address in the Contact section below or by calling 516-663-6600.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation or United States state privacy laws, including rights of access, correction, deletion, portability, and the right to object to or restrict certain processing, as well as the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. Residents of California and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may also have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are used in those laws. We may need to verify your identity before we act, and some information may be subject to legal or professional obligations that prevent us from deleting it.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signal. There is no common standard for how a website should answer these signals, and we do not process them separately. We do not need to: nothing beyond the strictly necessary and functional categories runs on this site unless you have accepted it.
Attorney advertising and no attorney-client relationship
This website is attorney advertising. The material on it is provided for general information only and is not legal advice on any specific matter. Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome.
Sending us an email or completing a form on this site does not create an attorney-client relationship, and information you send us before we have agreed in writing to represent you may not be treated as confidential. Please do not send us confidential or sensitive information until we have confirmed that we can act for you.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our site or the services it uses change. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top. If we add a vendor to a category that requires your consent, we will ask you again through the cookie banner.
