Ruskin Moscou Faltischek’s Leora Ardizzone Presented Cle at the Suffolk County Bar Association

Uniondale, Long Island, N.Y. March 4, 2015 – Leora Ardizzone, Of Counsel to the firm presented a 2 credit CLE program through the SCWBA entitled:  Health Law for the Non Health Lawyer.

The program was held on February 24, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at the Suffolk County Bar Association.  “It was very well received and attendees roundly applauded the speaker for keeping them riveted until 8:30 at night,” a SCWBA member commented.

This program provided an overview of health law transactions such as purchase and sales of practices or other licensed facilities, employment agreements, management contracts, business formations and business divorces and the multiple layers of regulation that govern these transactions.  The program highlighted the dangers of practicing general law in the health care space without a keen understanding of the regulations governing the business of medicine and the trends in the health care marketplace.
