Ruskin Moscou Faltischek’s Jay Silverman Selected as Panelist for LIBN’s Healthcare Power Breakfast

Uniondale, Long Island, N.Y., March 23, 2015 – Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, P.C. has announced today that Jay B. Silverman, Esq., Partner to the firm, will be a panelist member at LIBN’s Healthcare Power Breakfast. The program will be held on March 26, 2015 at 8:00 a.m. at Crest Hollow Country Club.

LIBN’s annual Healthcare Power Breakfast will address Obamacare, what’s working and what isn’t. The panelists will also discuss what Long Islanders need to know and do about the taxes, penalties and requirements they’ll be facing this year.

Jay B. Silverman is a shareholder at Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, where he co-chairs the firm’s Health Law Department. Mr. Silverman, formerly the Assistant General Counsel for the Medical Society of the State of New York, has extensive experience and knowledge in the area of health law as well as other related areas of practice. Mr. Silverman represents physician practice groups, all types of licensed health care professional, practice management companies and other health care entities providing ancillary services to the health care industry. Mr. Silverman handles a wide variety of business and transactional matters.  He also advises clients in the formation or dissolution of professional entities.  In addition, Mr. Silverman counsels clients in connection with federal and state regulatory issues that affect their businesses, and has assisted in a number of criminal investigations related to health care fraud.
