Ruskin Moscou Faltischek Presents Annual Award for Outstanding Appellate Advocacy the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University

Uniondale, Long Island, New York, April 18, 2012 – Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, P.C. announced today that three Hofstra University School of Law students were given the Ruskin Moscou Faltischek Award for Outstanding Appellate Advocacy at a ceremony held on April 17, 2012 at the Westbury Manor, Westbury, New York.

Third year law students Melissa Danowski, of East Rockaway, NY, Jesse Goldberg, of Forest Hills, New York and Jessica Miller, of Farmingdale, New York won this award and were cited for extraordinary success in both oral and written appellate advocacy in the National Moot Court Competition.

The Ruskin Moscou Faltischek Award was established in 2000 to recognize and reward students at the Hofstra University School of Law who each year excel in appellate advocacy.  Ellen Kessler, a partner at Ruskin Moscou Faltischek and an Honors graduate of Hofstra University School of Law, represented the law firm at the banquet as the Ruskin Moscou Faltischek Award was presented to the three co-recipients.
