Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, P.C. Welcomes Samantha M. Guido and Rachel A. Morgenstern to the Firm

Uniondale, N.Y., May 16, 2022 – Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, P.C., announced today that Samantha M. Guido and Rachel A. Morgenstern have joined the firm as associates. Samantha is a member of the firm’s Corporate and Securities Department and Rachel is a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation Department.

Ms. Guido’s practice concentrates on general corporate representation where she advises public and private clients on a broad range of corporate and securities matters including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, contracts, and SEC filings. Ms. Guido has also specific experience in representing businesses and individuals in cases involving contract disputes, partnership disputes, joint venture agreements, and breaches of fiduciary duty. She received her Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law.  During her time in law school, Ms. Guido was an Article and Notes Editor of the American Bankruptcy Law Review. Ms. Guido was an active member of the law school community, serving as a Student Mentor and serving as a member of various organizations including the Federalist Society. She was also the recipient of the Dean’s Award for Excellence in Labor Law. Ms. Guido is the President and Co-Founding member of the Jane Guido Foundation, a Long Island Charity that provides financial assistance to families in need.

Ms. Morgenstern focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation, business torts, estate litigation, employment litigation and other types of civil litigation. She has experience handling cases before federal and state courts in all phases of litigation, including discovery, court conferences, motion practice and oral argument. In her practice, Ms. Morgenstern has specific experience in cannabis litigation and cases involving shareholder disputes and breaches of contract. She also served as counsel to a New York State Supreme Court Justice in proceedings before the Commission on Judicial Conduct and obtained a dismissal of all charges after extensive briefing. Before receiving her Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School, Ms. Morgenstern utilized her Boston University master’s degree in print journalism to launch a career in political advocacy. She was manager of communications for Lawyers for Civil Justice, one of the nation’s leading legal reform organizations. Ms. Morgenstern is admitted to practice law in the Courts of the State of New York and the United States District Court of the Eastern District of New York. She is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association, the Nassau County Women’s Bar Association, and the New York State Bar Association, Commercial and Federal Litigation Section.
