Ruskin Moscou Faltischek Names Michael S. Amato Partner

Uniondale, Long Island, New York, January 4, 2010 –  Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, P.C. announced today that Michael S. Amato, formerly of counsel to the firm, has been elected a partner of the firm effective January 1, 2010.

Amato, a resident of Stony Brook, New York, is a member of the firm’s Financial Services, Banking & Bankruptcy Department and the Business Reorganization Practice Group.  He has considerable experience representing both debtors and creditors in bankruptcy matters and focuses his practice on debtor and creditor rights, business reorganizations and bankruptcy litigation.

Amato has advised numerous clients in negotiating, structuring and drafting complex Chapter 11 plans and debtor-in-possession financing agreements.  Amato is a member of the Suffolk County Bar Association and is currently Co-Chair of its Bankruptcy and Insolvency Committee.
