Ruskin Moscou Faltischek Names Jerry Siegelman as Co-chair of the Firm’s Real Estate Department

Uniondale, New York, July 31, 2019 – Ruskin Moscou Faltischek P.C. is pleased to announce that Partner Jerry Siegelman, a member of the Real Estate Department, will take on the role of co-chair of the firm’s Real Estate Department, working alongside Partner and Co-Chair Eric Rubenstein. Siegelman will succeed Partner Ben Weinstock, long time co-chair of the Real Estate Department, who will be stepping down from his role as co-chair to focus more of his time on servicing the firm’s large roster of clients.

Mr. Siegelman’s practice at Ruskin Moscou Faltischek concentrates on commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, portfolio transactions, financing, leasing and development with an emphasis on shopping center properties.  He routinely counsels clients in the development of retail and mixed-use projects and has handled complex financing for borrowers, including mezzanine and securitized loans.

Ruskin Moscou Faltischek’s Real Estate Department is comprised of skilled and accomplished attorneys who guide clients in all facets of commercial and multi-family residential real estate and development — from shepherding sophisticated financing transactions, leasing, acquisitions and sales to navigating complex land use and zoning matters.  The department boasts an in-depth knowledge of IDA financing of commercial properties as well as the development and leasing of retail centers.

Mr. Siegelman received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Queens College in 1982 and earned his Juris Doctorate from Boston University School of Law in 1985. He received a Master of Public Administration degree from Baruch College in 1995.

A resident of Great Neck, Mr. Siegelman is married and has two sons. He presently serves as a board member of the Gold Coast Arts Center, is a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals for the Village of Great Neck Estates and is a former adjunct professor at Hunter College.
