Ruskin Moscou Faltischek Attorney Gregg Naclerio Delivers Webinar to over 600 Attendees
Uniondale, Long Island, New York, August 28, 2012 – Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, P.C. announced today that Gregg Naclerio, Of Counsel to the firm and co-presenter Alan DeKaye of DeKaye Consulting, of Oceanside,New York, delivered a Webinar-Seminar to over 600 attendees.
The seminar, entitled “Suits and Scrubs: Avoiding Orange Jumpsuits”™ presented four case studies involving physicians and administrators who violated the law and faced the due consequences of incarceration. The Webinar was a follow up to two articles authored by Naclerio and DeKaye as part of the “Suits and Scrubs Series” that appeared in the Journal of Health Care Compliance in October 2011 and June 2012. A third article addressing the duties of a Board of Trustees is currently being prepared. The event was sponsored by Wolters Kluwer, a market-leading global information services and publishing company focused on professionals.
Mr. Naclerio, prior to serving Of Counsel to the firm, was a partner for over 20 years. He is a member of the firm’s Health Law Transactional and Health Law Regulatory Departments and the White Collar Crime & Investigations Group. Mr. Naclerio is also a member of the Corporate Governance Practice Group. Mr. Naclerio represents hospitals and health care professionals in various administrative and regulatory matters, including Medicare/Medicaid investigations, private carrier audits and the defense of false claim cases. Services are also provided to physicians and other licensed professionals before the Office of Professional Medical Conduct and Office of Professional Discipline.
Mr. Naclerio previously served as the Director of the Long Island Regional Office of the Deputy Attorney General for Medicaid Fraud Control. In that capacity, he supervised all investigations and prosecutions of Medicaid providers and allegations of patient abuse onLong Island.
