RMF Partner Joseph R. Harbeson Presents Program to Joint Meeting of the Commercial Litigation and Ethics Committees of the Nassau County Bar Association

Uniondale, Long Island, New York, June 6, 2016  – Ruskin Moscou Faltischek P.C. announced today that partner Joseph R. Harbeson, a member of the firm’s Practice Management Committee and Chair of its Construction Practice Group, recently presented an ethics program to a joint meeting of the NCBA Commercial Litigation and Ethics Committees.

The program addressed conflicts, privilege and other issues relating to the representation of organizations, former client conflicts, imputed conflicts and maintaining an effective conflict checking system and threatening the filing of grievances to gain a litigation advantage.

In addition to his practice management duties with the firm, Mr. Harbeson chairs its Pro Bono Committee and was recently named as Co-Chair of the NCBA’s Access to Justice Committee. He practices in the areas of commercial litigation and construction, including both litigation and transactional work.
