RMF Attorney Nicole Della Ragione to Present MCLE Webinar on Cybersecurity Ethics for the Trusts & Estates Practitioner

Della Ragione, Esq. will be presenting a Continuing Legal Education webinar on September 17, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Cybersecurity Ethics for the Trusts & Estates Practitioner hosted by the New York Bar Association.

With the legal profession relying more on remote work, coupled with the increase in data breaches at law firms, cybersecurity has become one of the greatest challenges facing lawyers and law firms. This new technologically focused environment creates new ethical issues that must be addressed. This program will discuss the evolving area of cybersecurity ethics, as well as a high-level discussion of cybersecurity best practices and obligations under the NY SHIELD Act.

Nicole is a member of the firm’s Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Practice Group, where her work includes  advising businesses based on their level of cyberpreparedness and conducting risk and threat assessments, incident response planning, immediate incident response and remediation, privacy impact assessments, and defending against enforcement actions, government investigations and private party civil actions. She is also a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation Department, Employment Practice Group, Health Law Department, and the White Collar Crime and Investigations Practice Group.

A resident of Farmingdale, Nicole is a graduate of SUNY Albany and holds a Juris Doctor from Hofstra University School of Law.
