Acknowledged for Support of Renovation Efforts
Uniondale, Long Island, New York, December 14, 2009 – Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, P.C. announced today that the law firm was recognized at the grand reopening of the Nature Museum at Caleb Smith State Park Preserve in Smithtown, New York on Sunday, December 6, 2009.
A formal ribbon cutting ceremony capped the event, during which the Firm’s Managing Director, P.J. Forcino, was presented with an award in recognition of the Firm’s support for the museum’s refurbishment. In addition, a plaque bearing the Firm’s name will become a permanent part of the exhibit.
The Nature Museum had fallen into disrepair and was in great need of restoration. The newly refurbished museum now includes interactive exhibits involving computer-based programs detailing information on the Nissequogue River, its geologic origins and the historical uses of the river. It also features hands-on programs about the preserve and the surrounding region.
“The Firm is pleased to have had the opportunity to support the restoration of this historic State Park,” said Managing Director P.J. Forcino. “Thousands of Long Islanders visit Caleb Smith State Park each year, and we believe the renovation will substantially add to the enjoyment of this educational treasure.”
