Realignment of Traditionally Stand-Alone Units Seeks to Maximize Clients’ Full Development Potential of Real Estate

Uniondale, NY, August 10, 2015 — Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, P.C., has announced the formation of a Land Use and Environmental Practice Group, combining its zoning/land use and environmental law practice groups into an integrated cross-disciplinary unit to be chaired by E. Christopher Murray, Esq.

“Real estate development applications and zoning changes do not occur in a vacuum and in today’s world are often intertwined with environmental litigation and regulatory challenges,” noted Adam Silvers, RMF Managing Partner.

“With more than 25 years of experience in complex commercial litigation, real estate, municipal affairs and environmental law, Chris Murray is uniquely qualified to oversee our innovative initiative to combine these traditionally stand-alone practice areas,” Silvers added.

“RMF has been able to help maximize the value of our clients’ real estate investments through our expertise in litigation, land use, zoning, and environmental matters, and will continue to meet the  requirements of our clients by bringing these disciplines together into a seamlessly integrated practice area,” said Eric Rubenstein , Partner and Co-Chair of the Real Estate Department with Benjamin Weinstock.  RMF’s real estate clients include many leading Long Island and New York metropolitan area developers, property owners, partnership interests and commercial and residential cooperatives.
