Christopher Murray was honored by The Urban League of Long Island Equal Opportunity Day (EOD) Committee with a 2021 Equity Award at the 46th Annual Long Island Equal Opportunity Day (EOD) Virtual Benefit Reception on Thursday, February 25, 2021.
This award acknowledges and celebrates the opportunities Chris and Ruskin Moscou Faltischek have provided over the years and the future opportunities including, equitable legal access for Long Islanders. The Long Island Equal Opportunity Day (EOD) is one of the region’s premier benefit events, attracting hundreds of attendees and thousands of viewers via print and social media networks. The EOD recognizes businesses and individuals that provide opportunities for underrepresented groups to be included in America’s mainstream society.

Mr. Murray, is a Partner in the Litigation Department at Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, P.C., he is also Chair of the Environmental and Land Use Practice Group. Mr. Murray has over 30 years of experience in all aspects of complex commercial, environmental, real estate, brokerage commission, insurance, employment, civil rights, anti-trust and trademark litigation; as well as commercial real estate and business transactions. Mr. Murray’s practice includes jury and non-jury trials in Federal and State court, as well as arbitration proceedings and administrative hearings. He has numerous reported Federal and State appellate level decisions involving real estate disputes, breach of contract claims, employment discrimination, Article 78 proceedings and partnership dissolutions. Mr. Murray’s experience includes litigation and administrative hearings involving a variety of environmental issues including SEQRA compliance, violations of New York and federal law concerning the disposal of hazardous waste, challenges to the denial of wetland permits and CERCLA liability.
