Uniondale, Long Island, New York, May 10, 2006 – Ruskin Moscou Faltischek announced today that Michael L. Faltischek, co-managing partner of the Firm, will be honored by the Chabad of Port Washington at its 15th Anniversary Dinner to be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at the Woodbury Country Club in Woodbury, New York. The gala event will support the Expansion of the Chabad Center and benefit its many community-based programs.

For over 30 years, Faltischek has played a key role in the success and growth of Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, one of Long Island’s largest law firms. As a senior member of the firm’s Corporate and Securities Department, he advises entrepreneurs and business enterprises on corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, succession planning and international business transactions. He is also chair of the Energy Industry and Corporate Governance practice groups.
A recognized leader in professional, community and philanthropic endeavors, Faltischek serves on the Board of Directors of the Long Island Association, is a member of the Board of Trustees of Old Westbury Gardens, and works closely with the Center for Business Ethics at Molloy College. He chaired the Long Island Regional Board, and is a National Commissioner of, the Anti-Defamation League, one of the nation’s premier civil rights and human relations agencies that fights anti-Semitism, all forms of bigotry, defends democratic ideals and protects civil rights for all. He has also been a delegate to the annual National Leadership Conference held in Washington, D.C. and received the ADL Torch of Liberty Award in 1992.
