Joseph R. Harbeson Named Partner; Mandel and Stein Join Firm As Associates

Uniondale, Long Island, New York, January 6, 2004 – Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, P.C. announced today that senior associate Joseph Harbeson has been named a partner in the firm. Harbeson, who joined the firm in early 1998, is a member of the firm’s Litigation Department and Employment Law Group. He also chairs the firm’s Construction Practice Group.

Harbeson practices in the areas of civil and commercial litigation, including construction, labor and discrimination, negligence and contracts, transportation, public bidding, landlord/tenant and real estate, commercial transactions, and appellate practice. He is a member of the Westchester County Bar Association and serves as a Habitat for Humanity mentor. Prior to joining the firm, Harbeson was an associate at Cooper & Cooper in New Rochelle, New York.

Additionally, the firm announced today that Kimberly B. Mandel and Matthew B. Stein have passed the bar exam (admission pending) and have joined the firm as associates. Mandel is a graduate of the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law; prior to joining the firm, she was a summer associate at Weil, Gotshal & Manges, LLP. Stein graduated from Fordham University School of Law; prior to joining Ruskin Moscou, he was a summer associate at Proskauer Rose.
