A Big Week in Cannabis: Recent Lawsuits and Gov. Hochul Proposes A New Bill

About Elizabeh Kase, Esq.

Elizabeth Kase, Esq. joined Ruskin Moscou Faltischek in October, 2021 as Co-Chair of the firm’s Cannabis Law practice group. Elizabeth is recognized as a leader in NY’s Cannabis regulatory practice space and brings her exceptional experience in criminal defense work and boundless energy to her advocacy. Elizabeth represents clients in all aspects of cannabis licensing for clients entering the marketplace.

Prior to joining RMF, Elizabeth was Partner at Abrams Fensterman and Kase & Druker and also served as an Assistant District Attorney in the New York County District Attorney’s Office under Robert M. Morgenthau.

Since 2011, Elizabeth serves as Village Justice of Baxter Estates in Port Washington. She is Pro Bono legal counsel to the Safe Center of Long Island and also lectures frequently on topics relating Cannabis regulations and criminal law.

In 2007, Elizabeth was named by the Long Island Business News as one of “40 Rising Stars Under 40” for her professional accomplishments and advocacy work and in 2013 was named “Top 50 Influential Women on Long Island” by the same publication. She has been named to NY Metro SuperLawyers since 2016.

About Hon. Jerry Kremer

Jerry is the Chairman of Empire Government Strategies. He was Chairman of the powerful Ways and Means Committee. He is highly respected in both the public and private sectors for his business acumen and his ability to get things done. He is considered one of the most respected lobbyists in New York.

He provides strategy and wise advice to leaders of major companies and is welcomed by officials of both political parties around the state.
