New York State Bar Association Appoints Ruskin Moscou Faltischek Attorney Lois Bladykas as Chair of Membership & Law Students Committee for its Trusts & Estates Law Section

Uniondale, New York – January 16, 2019 – Ruskin Moscou Faltischek P.C. is pleased to announce that Associate Lois Bladykas, a member of the firm’s Trust and Estates Department and Estate Litigation Practice Group, has been named the Chair of the New York State Bar Association’s Trusts & Estates Law Section Membership & Law Students Committee.

The New York State Bar Association’s Trusts & Estates Section, one of NYSBA’s largest sections, was developed to continue to provide educational information and ongoing legal updates to attorneys on trust and estate law with the goal of preserving the wealth of individual and corporate clients.  Lois Bladykas will help lead the Committee in its efforts to introduce members and potential members to the advantages and the work of the Trusts and Estates Law Section, including law students interested in trusts, estate and estate tax matters.

Lois Bladykas’ practice at Ruskin Moscou Faltischek focuses on estate and trust litigation, probate, estate administration, and estate planning.  This includes all manner of Surrogate’s Court proceedings including probate contests, accounting proceedings, discovery proceedings, and other complex disputes between beneficiaries and fiduciaries.  She represents fiduciaries and beneficiaries in Surrogate’s Courts as well as trial and appellate courts throughout the New York metropolitan area.

Lois received her Juris Doctor Degree from Brooklyn Law School and her Bachelor’s Degree from New York University.  She is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association Surrogate’s Court Committee and New Lawyers Committee and admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey.
