Michael Faltischek Ruskin Moscou Faltischek Honored as Master Innovator

Founding Partner Recognized for Longstanding Role in Promoting Long Island Economy and Encouraging New Business

Uniondale, NY – DATE, 2018 – Michael Faltischek, senior partner at Ruskin Moscou Faltischek P.C., was recently recognized as the 2018 “Master of Innovation” by Innovate Long Island for his nearly 50 years of encouraging and assisting businesses and economic growth on Long Island.

“Michael has played a key role in the growth and success of our firm over the course of five decades, and has simultaneously been in the forefront of the innovation, technology and science economy throughout Long Island,” said Adam Silvers, RMF Managing Partner.

Faltischek is Chairman of the firm’s Energy Industry Practice Group, and is co-founder of Stony Brook University’s Advanced Energy Research and Technology Center. He is also a Founding Member and Chairman of the Long Island Angel Network, a not-for-profit seed funding forum for entrepreneurs and investors, and had previously served  as a trustee of the Long Island Power Authority (LIPA).

Faltischek is a graduate of Pace University and holds a Juris Doctor degree from Brooklyn Law School. Along with chairing the Energy Industry Group his practice areas include corporate and securities, corporate governance and construction. In addition to business and entrepreneurial endeavors, Faltischek is active with many community organizations, including The Long Island Association, the executive council of the Frank G. Zarb School of Business at Hofstra University, The Sunrise Association, The Anti-Defamation League, and Old Westbury Gardens. He is a resident of [HOMETOWN].

The Master of Innovation award was given by Innovate Long Island, founded by former Long Island Business News publisher John Kominicki to cover the region’s economy with an emphasis on research, education, startups and incubators.
