Managing Partner Michael L. Faltischek Named to Board of Old Westbury Gardens

Uniondale, Long Island, New York, May 17, 2004 – Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, P.C. announced today that Michael L. Faltischek has been elected to the board of trustees of Old Westbury Gardens, effective April 2004.

A longtime leader in community activities, Faltischek gives generously of his time to many charitable and philanthropic organizations. In addition to Old Westbury Gardens, he serves on the board of the Long Island Association, is a National Commissioner, New York regional board member and former Chairman of the Long Island Regional Board of the Anti-Defamation League. He is actively involved in other community organizations that include the Mental Health Association of Nassau County and the Pave The Way Foundation. He is a former trustee of the Long Island Power Authority. He is also a frequent lecturer for the New York State Bar Association.

As a member of the Corporate and Securities Department, Faltischek advises entrepreneurs and business enterprises in corporate and finance matters, mergers and acquisitions, succession planning, as well as construction and international business transactions. He is chair of the firm’s Energy Practice Group and was also instrumental in the formation of the firm’s Corporate Governance Practice Group, which addresses the needs of corporations to be responsive to and compliant with far-reaching corporate reforms.
