Uniondale, Long Island, New York, June 20, 2016 – Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, P.C. announced today that Partner Jennifer F. Hillman, Esq. a member of the firm’s Trust and Estates Department, has been appointed to the board of directors of the Nassau County Women’s Bar Foundation. Ms. Hillman was a co-chair of the Foundation’s 10th Annual Golf Outing in 2015, and will again co-chair this year’s outing in September.
The Nassau County Women’s Bar Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation which is committed to promoting and advancing the status of women in the legal profession. It was formed as a charitable arm of the Nassau County Women’s Bar Association. The Foundation has annual events to support breast cancer awareness through its annual golf outing and provides scholarships to law students in financial need.
Ms. Hillman is an active member of the New York State Bar Association Trusts and Estates Section where she serves on the executive committee as a co-chair of the Governmental Relations and Legislation Committee. She is also an active member of the Nassau County Women’s Bar Association and the Nassau County Bar Association where she serves as a vice-chair of the Surrogate’s Court Committee.
