Gold Coast Arts Center Adds Jerry Siegelman to its Board of Directors

Uniondale, NY-  Jerry Siegelman, a partner at Ruskin Moscou Faltischek P.C., has joined the Board of Directors of the Gold Coast Arts Center.

“There is a wealth of culture, entertainment, and arts education that exists right here on Long Island.  As a longtime resident of Great Neck, I am a big supporter for the arts and have personally benefited from the Gold Coast Arts Center in our community,” said Siegelman.  “I am now very excited to work closely with this thriving organization which significantly enhances the quality of life that we have all come to enjoy.”

Mr. Siegelman’s legal practice at the Uniondale, NY-based Ruskin Moscou Faltischek P.C. concentrates on commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, depositions, portfolio transactions, financing, leasing and development with an emphasis on shopping center properties.  He routinely counsels clients in the development of retail and mixed-use projects and has handled complex financing for borrowers, including mezzanine and securitized loans.

Founded in 1995, the Gold Coast Arts Center has served Long Island and the greater New York community through the promotion and support of the arts. Over 100,000 people of all ages and diverse backgrounds have benefitted from the center’s education, exhibition and outreach programs. The outreach programs vary from after-school art classes to anti-bullying and tolerance programming, spanning throughout Long Island and Queens.

Mr. Siegelman received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Queens College in 1982 and earned his Juris Doctorate from Boston University School of Law in 1985. He received a Master of Public Administration degree from Baruch College in 1995.

A resident of Great Neck, Mr. Siegelman is married and has two sons. He presently serves as a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals for the Village of Great Neck Estates and is a former adjunct professor at Hunter College.
