Douglas J. Good Named a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation

Uniondale, Long Island, New York, July 14, 2005 – Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, P.C. announced today that Douglas J. Good, a senior partner at the firm and the President-elect of the Nassau County Bar Association, has been elected to serve as a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation.

Membership in The Fellows is limited to one-third of one percent of lawyers in each state, and is achieved first through nomination by members in the candidate’s jurisdiction, followed by election by the Board of the Foundation. Selection recognizes attorneys whose “professional, public and private career has demonstrated outstanding dedication to the welfare of the community, the traditions of the profession and the maintenance and advancement of the objectives of the American Bar Association.” Commented Good, “I am deeply honored by this election. Good serves as the co-chair of the firm’s Litigation Department, chair of the Employment Law Group and member of the Corporate Governance Group. He has extensive experience in trial and appellate advocacy in both state and federal courts, as well as substantial experience in alternate dispute resolution. Good has taught at the New York University Institute for Paralegal Studies and served as Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Nassau/Suffolk Law Services Committee. Good is also a member of the American Bar Association, the Federal Bar Council, the New York State Bar Association and the Nassau County Bar Association.
