Paul A. Juergensen serves as of counsel to Ruskin Moscou Faltischek P.C. where he is a member of the Intellectual Property & Technology, Digital Media Law, and Commercial Litigation practice groups.
Paul has extensive experience representing individuals and businesses of all sizes in intellectual property matters and has worked in the intellectual property field for thirty years since he first worked for a small IP boutique firm as a paralegal. Paul joins RMF from Levy, Stopol & Camelo, LLP where he worked as a paralegal for ten years while completing his legal studies and where he worked as an associate since passing the bar exam.
Paul has experience in the prosecution and defense of actions for trademark infringement, anti-counterfeiting, trade dress infringement, unfair competition, dilution, copyright infringement and patent infringement in federal courts throughout the country. His practice focuses on the clearance and protection and trademarks worldwide and he practices extensively before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office and the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. He also has experience in consulting clients in seeking patent protection and resolving patent disputes. Paul also advises clients with respect to licensing patents, technology, know-how and brands and has significant experience on the corporate and transactional side on intellectual property matters including mergers and acquisitions and commercial lending.
Paul was enrolled in the evening program at Touro Law where he was a three-time recipient of the CALI award for the highest grade in a course. Paul is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, the Eastern District of New York and the District of New Jersey.
