Nicolas A. Florio is a Law Clerk at Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, P.C., where he is rotating through the firm’s six core departments.
Nicolas received his Juris Doctor from The George Washington University Law School in Washington, D.C., where he received the Joel B. Rosenthal Commercial Law Award for academic excellence in commercial law at graduation. While in law school, Nicolas served as the Managing Editor on Volume 75 of the Federal Communications Law Journal, the official law journal of the Federal Communications Bar Association. His Note, “Some Added Security: Applying Lessons from Bankruptcy Law to Strengthen the Collection of Consumer Fraud Penalties” was published in Volume 75, Issue 2.
Prior to joining RMF, Nicolas interned twice for Judge Elizabeth Stong at the EDNY Bankruptcy Court in Brooklyn and served as a student attorney at GW Law’s Small Business & Community Economic Development Clinic. Nicolas is also an alumnus of Fordham University, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics with minors in Business Administration and American Studies.
