Kassandra Polanco is an Associate at Ruskin Moscou Faltischek P.C., where she is a member of the firm’s Litigation Department, Corporate Restructuring & Bankruptcy Practice Group, and Insurance & Insurance Litigation Practice Group.
Kassandra’s practice focuses primarily on complex commercial litigation, including matters involving commercial and residential real estate, breach of contract, shareholder and partnership disputes, and related financial and business disputes. Additionally, Kassandra handles a variety of insurance coverage matters and assists with professional liability claims.
A portion of Kassandra’s practice also involves trust and fiduciary litigation, including accounting proceedings and disputes between beneficiaries and fiduciaries, employment related disputes, such as wage and hour litigation, and general cannabis law.
Kassandra received her Juris Doctor from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, graduating Magna Cum Laude. During law school, Kassandra served as the President of the Trial Advocacy and Practice Honor Society and President of the Women’s Bar Association. She was also an active member of Law Review, where she published Trimming the Fat: The GDPR as a Model for Cleaning Up Our Data Usage, in 2020.
Upon graduation, she was the recipient of the National Association of Women Lawyers Award, which is awarded to a third-year law student selected by faculty of their law school.
Kassandra is admitted to practice in the State of New York and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern District of New York and the Eastern District of New York.
Kassandra is an active member of the New York State Bar Association and American Bar Association and is a Board Member of the Long Island Hispanic Bar Association.
