Uniondale, Long Island, N.Y. January 23, 2015 – Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, P.C., announced today that Norman R. Cerullo, Esq. has joined the firm as Of Counsel to its Litigation Department. Prior to joining Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, Mr. Cerullo was of Counsel to Meltzer Lippe Goldstein & Breitstone, LLP in Mineola, and prior to that he was associated with Mayer Brown LLP in New York City.
Mr. Cerullo’s practice focuses on business litigation in both federal and state courts, and in mediations and arbitrations. His clients have included financial institutions, technology and software companies, government contractors, educational institutions, accounting firms, media interests and a host of other businesses and individuals in a wide array of complex matters. Mr. Cerullo has particular experience litigating cases involving breach of contract, restrictive covenants and non-compete agreements, as well as intellectual property disputes, including claims of misappropriation of trade secrets. Mr. Cerullo has also litigated “whistleblower” lawsuits and represented clients in related investigations based upon alleged fraud on the government.
A resident of Stony Brook, Mr. Cerullo received his J.D. from American University-Washington College of Law, where he was the Managing Editor of the Law Review. He received his undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from Long Island University/C.W. Post Campus.
Mr. Cerullo has been named by Super Lawyers to its list of “Rising Stars” as one of the top up-and-coming business litigators in the New York Metropolitan area for the past four years. He was also the recipient of Long Island Business News’ Inaugural “Leadership in Law” award.
