The Energy Industry Practice Group is a multi-disciplinary group providing diverse legal services, which focus on the unique needs of the energy industry and its ongoing efforts to satisfy the energy needs of the regional marketplace. A former Trustee of the Long Island Power Authority (1995-2001), Mr. Faltischek was actively involved in all aspects of the acquisition of certain assets of Long Island Lighting Company and the sale of over $8 billion in bonds to finance the transaction. Arthur “Jerry” Kremer (516) 663-6688 Partner Jerry Kremer is chair of the firm’s Municipal and Government Affairs Group and a member of the Corporate & Securities Department and Energy Industry Practice Group. As the head of the Regulatory and Municipal Affairs Department, Mr. Kremer continues his active involvement on behalf of clients with matters at the federal, state and local level. In addition, he acts as bond counsel to a number of municipal entities and handles zoning and land use cases. Having been deeply involved in state government, Mr. Kremer represents clients as lobbying counsel and in appearances before legislative bodies. A 23-year veteran of the New York State Assembly, he is the only Long Island legislator to ever head the prestigious Ways and Means Committee.
Edward A. Ambrosino (516) 663-6675 Edward Ambrosino serves as counsel to the firm where he is a member of the Municipal and Regulatory Affairs Group and Real Estate Department. Mr. Ambrosino previously served Nassau County as counsel to the Republican caucus of the Nassau County Legislature.
