Attorney Benjamin Weinstock To Teach Real Estate Law Course at Yeshiva University

University Seeks to Expand Real Estate Curriculum for Business Students

Uniondale, Long Island, New York, April 22, 2004 – Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, P.C. announced today that partner and Real Estate Department co-chair Benjamin Weinstock has been tapped for a teaching post at Yeshiva University’s Sy Syms School of Business, located in Manhattan, for the fall 2004 semester. Weinstock will teach an undergraduate 3-credit course on Real Estate Law.

The course will cover the legal nature of real estate ownership and forms of interests in real property, such as leases, mortgages and fee ownership. The course curriculum will also cover landlord and tenant issues, environmental and construction law and real estate financing, among other real estate topics.

Weinstock, a frequent guest lecturer at Yeshiva, is considered one of the preeminent real estate attorneys in New York and is frequently sought after for his broad range of experience, knowledge and skill. In addition to his representation of Ruskin Moscou Faltischek clients in real estate matters, Weinstock has also been called upon to testify as an expert witness in several real estate cases. Governor Pataki named Weinstock to the New York State Real Estate Board, where he was elected Secretary. He is one of 13 real estate experts from across the state to serve on the board. Weinstock is also a member of the legal advisory boards of Chicago Title Insurance Company and First American Title Insurance Company of New York, and serves on the Real Property Law Committee of the Nassau County Bar Association.
