Arthur Jerry Kremer Debuts Column in Herald Community Newspapers

Uniondale, Long Island, New York, June 8, 2010 –  Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, P.C. is pleased to announce that partner , chair of the firm’s Municipal & Regulatory practice, has debuted a column in the Herald Community Newspapers, a Nassau County suburban newspaper group with 15 community editions. The column will appear every other week in all editions, both print and online. The column will provide commentary on news of the day with a particular focus on political happenings in and around Albany and Washington, D.C.

Kremer, a resident of New York City and Bridgehampton, brings vast experience in politics, current events and the law to this latest endeavor. With an insider’s unerring eye, Kremer will bring his unique brand of insight and perspective to a host of pressing issues. The news media has consistently sought Kremer’s commentary and analysis on events of the day; he has been the News 12 political analyst for over ten years and appears regularly on the Fox and WABC-TV networks.

Kremer has enjoyed a long and distinguished career not only in law but also in government. A 23-year veteran of the New York State Assembly, he headed the prestigious Ways and Means Committee for 12 years. He also served on the Metropolitan Transportation Authority’s Capital Review Board and the Public Authorities Control Board. During his tenure in Albany, Kremer also served as Chair of the Committee on Corporations where he was involved with corporate structure and energy issues.

Kremer maintains an active role in many key Long Island organizations. He is a Trustee of Hofstra University, a member of the Board of Overseers of the Tilles Center for the Performing Arts and has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Long Island Association. Since 1991, he has chaired the annual Fair Media Council luncheon honoring outstanding achievements by the media. Kremer is also chairman of the Young People’s Chorus of New York City, a 300-member youth chorus.  He is a past president of the Brooklyn Law School Alumni Association.
